Software

Four tools, free for in-house tax teams.

TaxLex, TaxTrack, TaxTag and TaxMap each began as advisory work we kept doing by hand. An in-house tax team uses them without a licence fee. Access is by invitation, tool by tool.

An advisory firm that wants a tool for its own fee-earners is quoted a subscription in writing. The Tax Function 360° Review never recommends one of our tools.

What each tool does and who it is for

Research

TaxLex

Ask a tax question and get the answer with the paragraph of law it came from. Statutes, regulations, official guidance and case law across 25 jurisdictions, refreshed weekly. Every answer cites source text you can open and check.

Who it is for
Anyone who has to put their name to the answer. The model retrieves; the practitioner signs.

Workflow

TaxTrack

See where every tax cycle stands and show afterwards how it got there. Templates you build by drag and drop, dashboards by entity, country, period and owner and deadlines that flow in from TaxLex instead of being typed twice.

Who it is for
Teams running the same VAT, withholding tax and CIT cycles every quarter and the Head of Tax who has to say which will close on time.

Documents

TaxTag

One Word template, one dataset, every finished document in a single run, as Word and PDF. It works in the browser or inside Word. The first ready-made template covers the Dutch transfer pricing local file.

Who it is for
Whoever now produces dozens of local files or one template copied across forty entities, by hand.

Mapping

TaxMap

Map your accounts once, to the treatment each process needs. The same structure then serves the provision, the CIT return, Pillar Two and statutory reporting, instead of four mappings rebuilt every time the chart of accounts changes. TaxMap does not decide your tax position.

Who it is for
Tax teams who keep several mappings of one chart of accounts in step by hand.

Infrastructure

Built on Microsoft Azure. Run it with us or in your own environment.

The tools run as a SaaS solution or inside your own Azure environment. In your own environment, your data stays under your identity controls and behind your network. When you leave, you get your content back in a machine-readable format wherever the tool allows one.

01

EEA hosting

Azure regions in the European Economic Area, mainly West Europe. AI routing is set out in the data processing schedule.

02

Your environment

Runs as a SaaS solution or inside your own Azure environment, by design.

03

Azure certifications

ISO 27001 and SOC 2 cover Microsoft's infrastructure, not TIF Synergy's application.

04

Audit trail

Each tool keeps its own audit trail, set out tool by tool in the data processing schedule.

Technology partnerships

We build on the Microsoft stack and work every day with the platforms our clients already run. We are formalising a small number of technology partnerships. Where a partnership produces a commission, referral fee or other incentive linked to your work, we disclose it and pass its full value back to you or decline it. We do not recommend a vendor because of what they pay us. Partnerships will be listed here once they are signed, not before.

Terms and documents

See a tool on your own data.

A walk-through costs nothing. We'll tell you honestly which of the four is worth your time and which isn't.
